Josefine K. Pryor

She was born April 28, 1953, in Amberg, Germany to George and Berta Honig Lang.

At the age of 16, she started her apprenticeship as an office clerk for the Grammar (AG) in Amberg until the age of 18. She later worked for AAFES on Fort Hood, Texas. for 19 years and worked as a Corrections Officer for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for over 12 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Pryor, Jr. on February 10, 2006.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Roger Pryor of Killeen. granddaughter Sydney N. McRath of Houston, TX. Brothers Wolfgang Lang and Hans Lang of Germany. Nieces Silvia Lang, Carola Koch, and Simone Lang of Germany. Sister in Law Valley Pickren along with Brother in law Robert James Pryor of Virginia.

A celebration of life for Josefine will be at 1:30 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 76542. Following the celebration of life will be a committal service at 3:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
