Jay Lee Smith

Jay Lee Smith, age 66, passed away March 15, 2024 at his home in Harker Heights, TX. Jay was born on August 13, 1957 in Gray County, Texas to TJ and Elma Smith. He was a beloved son, father, grandad, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

SGT Jay Smith enlisted in the United States Army for 20+ years. He received many medals while enlisted. Jay enjoyed working on old, classic and race cars.

Jay Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Teressa Smith and his parents, TJ and Elma Mae Smith of Odessa.

He is survived by his Daughter and Son - In- Law, Sherri and Joey Noyola of Monahans, Texas; Son, Tony Jay (TJ) Smith of Harker Heights, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Kye Noyola, Taegan Noyola, Braelyn Noyola, and Cayton Noyola all of Monahans, Texas and 1 great grandchild Braxton Lane Franco of Monahans, Texas; Sister and Brother - in - Law, Cheryl and Steve Maloney; Nephew and Niece, Shaun Maloney and Lauren Maloney; Great Nephew and 2 former wives, Darlene Smith and Hermina Reyes Smith.

A Graveside Services will be held Tuesday April 9, 2024 @ 9 AM at The Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
