Funeral service for Homer Martin, 83, of Killeen will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 12 Noon at Anderson Chapel AME Church. Burial with full Military Honor will follow at Killeen Memorial Park.
He was born in Birmingham, AL on July 21, 1927 and passed away on March 25, 2011 in Temple, TX.
He retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service and went to work for Billy Young Lincoln-Mercury for 9 years and later was employed by the City of Killeen for 10 years. He also worked as a reserve police officer for the City of Nolanville for 6 years.
