Hilda Rodriguez Romanello

Hilda is survived by her 3 daughters, Phyllis (Cookie) Santiago, from Temple, Texas, Carmen (Baby) Kersten, and her husband Harry, from Mobile Alabama, and Joanne Ortiz, and her husband Carlos from Killeen, Texas.

Her grandchildren, Hector Frank, Christine, and Oscar Franceschini; Carlos Frank, and Jamey Ortiz; and Matthew Santiago; and a great grandchild Anthony Hansen. Her loving brothers Carlos (Charlie) Rodriguez, from Louisville, Kentucky, and Jose Oscar (Sisi) Rodriguez, from Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Oscar Rodriguez and Carmen Rodriguez Suarez from Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, and her loving husband Frank Romanello, from Stamford, Connecticut.

Hilda was born on April 26, 1938 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. She married Frank Romanello in December 2, 1955, and remained together until his death on April 13, 1998.

Visitation is scheduled from 9:00am to 10:30am on Friday, November 21, 2014, at Crawford-Bower Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood Rd. in Killeen, Texas. Burial service will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 Texas 195, Killeen, TX 76542, at 11:00am. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Sterling House in Temple, Texas for their care and dedication to our Mother, Hilda; Mami.
