On May 21, Harry I Miller beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend went to be with the Lord. Harry was in born in Antwerp, Ohio, but spent his early years in Churubusco Indiana. Harry has lived in many places, but has made Copperas Cove home for the last 44 years.
Before coming to Texas, Harry joined the United States Army in 1956 and served our country for 28 years. During this time, he earned the rank of Command Sergeant Major. The U.S. Army recognizes Harry for his honorable service with 14 medals including the Legion of Merit.
Harry and Sandy have spent the last 58 years together building a life they love. After settling down in Copperas Cove, they have enjoyed traveling to see friends and family. They often traveled to see shows, the beach, and beautiful places to volksmarch.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Shirley and Bob.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Sandy, son Michael and daughter Carla, as well as five grandchildren Jonathan, Brandon, Allison, Marshall and Grace, and one great-grandchild, a sister Carol and brother Ken.
His family has organized a Funeral Service to honor Harry’s life and Military Service. Services will be held at the Crawford Funeral Home in Killeen Texas on May 25, 2023 at 0830.
