Gerald N. Harris, the son of Joseph and Ella Harris was born on September 26, 1944 in Philadelphia PA. On Thursday, October 24, 2019, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ quietly took him into his everlasting arms of rest. Gerald mostly know as "Jerry" was educated in the Philadelphia school system.
Jerry served 6 years in the Navy and 20 plus years of active duty in the Army and retired in 1984. During his last year of service, he met his lovely wife Sara.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Sara; 4 children: Alicia Harris, Gerald Harris Jr., Keith Harris and Ghinette Harris: 6 Grand children; Lorenzo, Gerald, Keith, Dejon, Jaylen and Javon; 1 Great grand child; Peyton Harris: Sisters; Victoria, Veronica, Cynthia, Loraine (who preceded him in death) and brother Joseph Jr. who preceded him in death: A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jerry loved to fish, hunt and had numerous hobbies. He enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. His loving personality and charm made him the person that he is.
Gerald (Jerry), husband and father will be greatly missed for his love, his friendship and his beautiful spirit! May his soul rest in peace.
