Funeral services for Gerald Ray “Butch” Eldridge 69 of Killeen will on Wednesday August 29, 2012 at Central Christian Church at 2 PM with burial at Killeen City Cemetery following the service. He passed away at his residence on Friday August 24, 2012.
Butch was born March 14, 1943 in Greenville, Texas to John R. and Johnnie Walker Eldridge. He grew up in Greenville. On July 22, 1961 he married Sandra Kay Bostick of Royce City, Texas, together they had two children. Later on he married Kathy McDonald of Killeen on January 1, 1986. He worked for Myong’s Cove Barber Shop for more than two decades where he made many friends. He was an avid sportsman who traveled all over the United States spend a great deal of time in the Alaska outdoors.
He was precede in death by his mother Johnnie Walker Wright, his step mother Ann Eldridge and his sister Judy Eldridge Fogle.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Wendy Kay O’Neal and husband Patrick O’Neal, son Randy M. Eldridge and wife Tina Morales Eldridge, grandchildren Zachary and Tye Eldridge and Hanna O’Neal, Michael and Clay Hebert, Trenton Hebert, Aubra Hebert and Brice Buchanan. Also he is survived by his father John R. Eldridge and sisters Johnnie Wood, Jerry Wykes, Linda Gallaway, Betty Shupp, Joan Wrights, Jean Wright and Julie Ash Neisert.
Pallbearers will be Zachary S. Eldridge, Tye D. Eldrdge, Partick O’Neal, Mike McDonald, Michael Hebert, and Clay Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Draper, Scott Schroder, Earsel Hyden, Lenard Hyden, Rocky McCoy and Richard Wykes.
