Gary Joe Conley

Funeral services for Gary Conley, 53, of Nolanville, will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial with full military honors will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Conley died Oct. 24, 2010, in Temple. He was born Aug. 25, 1957, in Somerset, Ky., to Charles and Mildred Conley.

Mr. Conley served in the Army for more than 20 years, retiring in 1996 at the rank of first sergeant. While serving in Germany, he met and married Klaudia Waltrapp.

Survivors include his wife, Klaudia Conley of Nolanville; daughter, Cynthia Conley of Belton; brother, Charles Conley Jr. of Somerset, Ky.; two sisters, Suzanne Craw of Ridgeville, S.C.; and Tammie Strunk of Somerset, Ky.; and one granddaughter, Nicole Conley of Belton.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association in Mr. Conley's memory.
