On March 22, 1938 in Fort Worth, Texas, Ira Lee and Minnie Bertha Ables welcomed their
first child, a beautiful daughter of whom they named, Eunice Faye Ables. Eunice grew up and
attended school in Texas with her Grandfather and Grandmother John and Alice Adkins also
known to her as "Daddy" and "Madea".
Eunice, growing into womanhood, met and married Robert Lee Johnson June 15, 1957.
From this union, a beautiful baby girl Kimberly Patrice was born. They lived in Fort Knox,
Kentucky for a period of time before moving to Killeen, Texas. Later, she met and married JT
Johnson, August 3, 1978. She united with Pershing Park Baptist Church and was a faithful
member for more than 30 years where she served in various capacities.
Eunice was a Mary Kay Consultant for many years and was very passionate in the art of beauty
using cosmetics. Each stroke of every brush with application was so defined and absolutely
flawless. Among many things, she enjoyed shopping and adored the color "red". She also
loved to dance and was awarded certificates for Rumba, Waltz, Ballroom Sampler, Tango, and
the Foxtrot.
However, none of these admirations compare to the sincere Love for her precious baby,
"Kimberly" also known as "Kimmy". There aren't enough words to express just how deep Her
Love for Kim was and forevermore will be; for this love truly radiated from the very depths of her
soul.
Within the "Cosmetics" of her life, there were some challenges...but she always applied a
beautiful smile and heart-felt love to each and every one.
