Services for Eric Eugene Cheney will be Friday February 19, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial with military honors will follow at 3:00pm at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Eric Eugene Cheney, 41, a courageous warrior and great leader, served proudly and honorably in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. He was the beloved husband of Mary Cheney for over 10 years. He was the only child of Eugene Robert Cheney and Patti Jo Celebre and was raised in Waukegan, IL. Eric cherished his family, his dogs, his brotherhood and his motorcycle. His kind heart and loving spirit will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him. May he forever ride on the beautiful highways of heaven and be at peace. The family will receive visitors from 12-1pm Friday February 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
