Elmer was married to his wonderful wife, Tami Davis, with whom he built a beautiful life.
Elmer served in the United States Army where he earned many medals. Among those were the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Good conduct medal, Silver Star and 2 Bronze Star medals among many more before he retired as a Sergeant First Class.
Elmer served as the Deacon at Pershing Park Baptist Church and attended Ohnnuri Community Baptist Church.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl, and his Wife Tami, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister.
A Visitation for Elmer will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX.
Following the Visitation will be a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
