Ellen Edith Mills was born December 14, 1935 in Frankfurt, Germany to Heinrich Otto and Paula Katharina Hahn and passed away December 23, 2019. Ellen married Tilman Alonzo Mills December 9, 1958 in Germany and came to Fort Hood in 1969. Killeen became their permanent residence.
She received a Certificate of Naturalization December 6, 1965 and became an American Citizen.
She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She cared for her disabled husband from 1972 until he passed away in 2010.
Survivors include daughter, Mary E. Barr, son-in-law Anthony S. Barr, grandson, Tyler Barr, granddaughter Megan Barr, niece, Debbie Mitchell of Georgia, and nephew Robert Howard of Georgia.
