During one visit with Mike at his parents we went out and were worse-for-wear the next day.  Instead of being rightfully upset that two hungover slugs were taking up space in her house, she made us grilled cheese, tomato soup as well as gave us ibuprofen and coffee. 
I ended up staying most of the day at the house watching old movies and huddled under a blanket and thinking about what an awesome mother and person she is. I didn't know what else to say on this anniversary...it's the first memory that pops to mind when I think of her. 

Even over a year after her passing I still remember Donna as one of the kindest and purest souls I have come across- especially as the mother of someone I was very close to- her son Michael whom she loved fiercely. Her selfless love for her son and her family was what made her shine and made me admire her. I always said anyone would be lucky to have her as their mother. She was the embodiment of pure feminine and mother spirit. Even though she wasn’t related to me in any way she accepted and comforted me every time I was in her presence. I will always be thankful, grateful, and always remember this as time passes on still without her. In this way I believe her essence lives on. 

Donna was such a beautiful girl.  She was  my 
 niece and a fun loving person. I loved her very much. Prayers to her husband and son.

Always smiling, always sweet and kind, always a Lady! Thank you for all the sunshine you brought into our lives and into our office! May your light continue to shine brightly up there 🙏🏼 Rest in Heavenly Peace 🙏🏼

I had the pleasure of working with Donna when we worked for Bell Co.  
She had  such a upbeat personality and had a youthful outlook in life. She never showed her age.  
My condolences to the West family  on the lost of a kind and sweet person. RIP Donna

I worked with Donna at Vehicle registration.  She was the sweetest individual.  Always a smile and a hello for everyone.  A real lady.  She had a comical side about her.  I’ll never forget the time she dressed up as Lucille Ball.  Donna always had such grace.  She was my friend and she will be missed.  Condolences to the family.

I met Ms. Donna when she worked at the DMV in Killeen. She was always laughing and smiling. She was the sweetest and if I were having a bad day, she brightened it up.
