Services for SFC (Ret.) Donald K. Adkins will be 12:00pm Monday April6, 2015 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Andy (Don) was born October 4, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Denver Colorado. He passed away March 31, 2015 in Killeen. He joined the U. S. Army in 1975 and retired in Killeen after 20 years of service. Andy (Don) was a beloved husband, an honest father, and a memorable friend. Survivors include his wife, Eva of 37years; his son Kenny (Buzz); and his daughter Ashley (Nene). By the Grace of God, he was able to meet his two beautiful grandchildren; Elijah and Isabel. Andy (Don) met with God, in his home, surrounded by his family. The family will receive visitors from 11:00am to 12:00pm Monday April 6, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
