He joined the Marines in 1977 and after the service he became an electrician until his retirement in 2017. He enjoyed Harley’s and watching old movies.
David married the love of his life, Colleen, on August 25th, 1979. They shared 42 years together and raised three children: David, Russell, and Amanda.
David is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Clarabelle Maynard and his 5 brothers Milton, Gary, Randy, Timothy, and Michael.
He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen, his sons David D Maynard Jr (Mary), Russell Ray Maynard (Ellie), his daughter Amanda Rene Downey, and his 4 Grandchildren Amber, Lucas, Colton, Brantley and his loving cat Binky.
