He was the older of two children and was born in New Orleans, LA.
Conrad was a resident of the Marble Falls/Kingsland Area. Before retiring he worked for the New Orleans Sheriff Department as a Telephone Technician. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and served 2 years with the United States Army in Army Intelligence.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul Lawrence and Bertha Mitchell.
Conrad is survived by his son, Conrad Joseph Lawrence, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana; two daughters, Shenyarai Kian Pellerin of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Jillian Christina Lawrence of Kingsland, Texas; one grandson, Christopher Benjamin Jenkins.
He gave his life to Jesus Christ in the late 1980s at First Assembly of God in New Orleans, LA. Later in the early 90’s after rededicating his life at Gideon Christian Fellowship in New Orleans, Louisiana, he became an active member of the ministry and used his expertise to install the communication and sound systems there. He was also an important part of the Men’s Ministry where he helped plan the men’s retreats among other things. He also found time to usher and teach Sunday School Classes.
He was a beloved member of Smoking For Jesus Ministry and enjoyed fellowship with his church family. He participated in the Men’s Ministry and will be greatly missed by us all.
