Christa Maria Sharkey-Ramirez

Chris spent the majority of her life in Killeen Texas, with husband William “Bill” George Sharkey Sr. Where they raised three children. She worked as a clerk for TDCJ until she retired. When she lost Bill, she received a second chance at love with her second husband Frankie Ramirez.

Chris loved to sing, dance, and spend time with friends and family. She had a strong appreciation for the military and spent many nights at the American Legion and VFW.

She is preceded in joining the Lord by: her Mother and Father, Walter and Maria Kumm; her late husband Bill Sharkey; her second late husband Frankie Ramirez; and her children Billy Sharkey and Dianna Roush.

She is survived by her son Richard Sharkey of Killeen, Tx; Grandchildren Elizabeth Sunderman (Steven) of Bryan, Tx; Richie Sharkey of Troy, Aaron Sharkey (Josie) of Troy, Tx; and Great Grandchildren Bailey and Bentley Sunderman of Bryan, Tx.

A memorial service for Christa will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen, TX. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service at Killeen City Cemetery.
