I first met Charlene in my classes in 7th grade at Kane Area Junior High School.  She was intelligent and she was so polite and kind to all her classmates and friends.  I cannot remember any student in school who did not like Charlene.  I don't think we ever saw each other after graduation; however, I will always remember her with fondness and respect.  I know she grew up to be a great lady!

I graduated with Charlene class of 1966. I also lived in Mt. Jewett until 8th grade moving to Kane. . I always thought it was so "cool" that she was Darlene's aunt. We had many good times before entering 7th grade in Kane. Most of us became separated in junior high but our class remained close. I am so sorry for your loss. I love the photos that were posted. It's been a few years since we last saw one another. She was and still is so pretty.

Charlene was not only the best neighbor anyone could ever have she was like family to me and mine. A beautiful woman inside and out.  I remember taking a picture of her & Rus on a scaffold. They were facing their house. Rus had his arm around her. He had painted Rus loves Char on the house. She will be dearly missed.

I worked with Mrs. Charlene at Live Oak Ridge. She always made us laugh and had a caring personality. I’m sorry to hear of her passing. Many prayers sent to her family.
