Bridgette Belinda Williams

Bridgette B. Williams was called home on July 9, 2011. Bridgette was the fourth of five children born of the union of Ossie Lee Williams, Sr. and Arvella Williams. Born April 30, 1971 in Dallas, Texas, Bridgette spent 34 blessed years in Killeen. She graduated from Killeen High School in 1990. She married Stone Sykes on September 7, 2002. This union yielded three daughters, Ashante, Kira and Jaden Sykes.

Bridgette was a devoted wife, compassionate friend, and tireless worker. Solving crossword puzzles, instant messaging friends and family, watching horror movies, walking, and spending countless hours with friends and family were things that generated an unbelievable SMILE on her face. She had a special admiration for her nephews and nieces. Her work career included service with KISD, Wal-Mart, and Jack In The Box. Her work ethic and commitment were unmatched.

Bridgette was preceded in death by her father, Ossie Lee Williams, Sr., step father Marcell Calhoun, and daughters Ashante and Jaden Sykes.

Bridgette leaves to carry on her legacy a husband, Stone Sykes, daughter, Kira Sykes, mother, Arvella Calhoun-Kirven (Killeen), brothers, Gary (Dallas), Ossie Jr. (Dallas) and Brett Williams (Killeen), and sister, Pamela Williams (Austin).
