Billie Lucille Watkins

Mrs. Watkins died Aug. 28, 2011.

She was born May 9, 1928, in Sherman to George W. and Hazel Martin, both of whom are deceased. Mrs. Watkins graduated from Van Alstyne High School in June 1945. She married Marshall C. Watkins on Dec. 14, 1946, in Sherman. They moved to Killeen in 1958.

She was a loving wife and mother to Marshall and her three boys, Greg, Randy and Stacy.

Survivors include her sister, Pat Little of Sherman; her brother, Bud Martin of Sherman; her three sons, Greg Watkins and his wife, Glenda, of Austin, Randy Watkins and his wife, Debbie, of Katy, and Stacy Watkins and his wife, Jenny, of Waxhaw, N.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
