Funeral services for Angel Luis Rodrigues, 84, of Killeen, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery. Mr. Rodrigues died Sept. 10, 2011. He was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Rio Redras, Puerto Rico.
As a teen, he was a boxer and later earned his Master Chief title from Pretigions Restraint in Ney York City.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Rodrigues of Killeen; two daughters, Marty Rivera and Eve Nazorio of Killeen; a son, Jamie Martinez of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, Star Kato, George Rivera and Chris Torres of Killeen, Jessie and Denise Martinez of Seattle, Wash., Lizetle, Maggie and Bobby Martinez of New York City, Joshua Martinez of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jammie Matrinez of Massachusetts; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
