Martina passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on February 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Martina was a homemaker. Throughout her life, she labored in the fields harvesting various crops alongside her husband, Emilio Juarez Garcia and her children. Martina loved socializing and volunteered at the Kerman Senior Center for 12 years where she enjoyed dancing activities and going to the casino. Her grandchildren and their friends referred to her as "grandma". She would often say she was everyone's grandma. Martina will be best remembered for her warm caring character, instant likeable qualities (friendliness) and her affectionate smile.
Martina raised 10 children, Michael Juarez, Ramon Juarez, Galdino Juarez, Alejandra Juarez, Anita J. Garcia, Diana J. Lopez, Emilio Juarez Jr., Amelia (Emma) Gonzales, Angelina Garcia, and Alicia J. Lopez. She also raised two of her grandchildren, Carolina and Paul Juarez.
Martina is survived by her children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her two sisters; Dorothy Negrete and Rita Mendoza.
Martina was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Juarez Garcia, her parents; Carolina Alvarado Morales and Armando Morales, her siblings; Enrique (Henry) Morales, Maria Luisa Morales, Lydia Gaeta and Julia Barajas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Kerman Chapel 538 S. Madera Avenue, Kerman, CA 93630.
Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 15437 W. Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630. Interment to follow at Golden Sunset Memorial Park 310 S. Goldenrod Avenue, Kerman, CA 93630.
Serving as pallbearers are Martin E. Cisneros, Jaime Lopez, Jose Luis Lopez, Pedro Quintana, Michael Juarez III., Jerry Ruiz, Jacob Suniga, Efren Daniel Garcia, Paul Juarez, Emilio Garcia, Carlos Cisneros and Luis Humberto Lopez.
