My Grandpa Abraham was & always will be like, SUPERMAN in my eyes. He was angel on earth in real life and so was his wife Maria De La Luz. They never judged or treated me different because I wasn't actually blood. They always claimed me as their own. I will always and forever be grateful for all of the Mendoza family.. My family.. When I was in a kid. I remember it was hot outside & we wanted to go swimming. But we had no pool.. My Grandpa took it upon himself to find all types of materials like Wood,Scrap mental, Hammer & Nails... He made a pool in the back yard filled with water.. We had so much fun swimming .. Grandpa abraham,
as the days go by I often find myself thinking of you through memories and moments that make me proud of each and every single second i got to spend with you as my grandfather
It was truly an honor to be surrounded by such a compassionate  well rounded selfless person of character such as yourself how much integrity and drive you had as a man each time we showed up to yours and grandma luz's house always amazed and astonished me because you always made sure we knew you had special place in your hearts for each and every single one of us and that's something that will remain embedded within my heart forever you were like a father to me a  role model a teacher a hero  a molder of men but most importantly out of all of those things the most important thing to me was you being my grandfather words cannot even come close to expressing the way we all feel about you but I'm going to do my best to paint the picture of you for the youth and for the generations ahead of us so that someday they too can get a glimpse and feel that same feeling I felt within my chest when it comes to your memory thank you again for everything

I thank God for blessing me with you as a grandpa and Nino. Through your hard work and sacrifice you provided my life so much privilege and opportunity before I was even born. I never felt as loved, cared for and at home as I did there with you, grandma Luz and my dad. The memories I have there in Biola are by far my best childhood memories and I will treasure them forever.  Until next time, I love you.

My Grandpa was the best he was so kind and giving to all of the community. From fruits off the tree and vegetables from his garden to actual money he helped any way he could. He was always joking with us grandkids just to make us laugh. I feel like I still can hear him say for every goal you score mijo I’ll give you five dollars. Or that he was gonna go to school today and trade places with me. While he would get to enjoy recess I would have to work and eat his lunch while he ate my square pizza. I loved him so much in school. He was amazing and I thank god for every minute I had with him. I miss hearing how he was gonna play with all of my friends but I still have to do the homework when I come home. I love you grandpa I will always be a penguino and will pass on all of the silly stuff we did to my little ones.

My Father Abraham G. Mendoza will be truly missed. He was a Wonderful.... Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, God Father,  Co-Worker, Employee, Neighbor and Friend!

Dad worked hard to raise, feed and support five children and our beautiful mother.  Im the youngest of our family and have memories of the most loving parents throughout my entire childhood. 

Taking care of dad up until his last moments was a privilege and an honor. Our roles reversed and I had the opportunity to care for him when he needed us (his children) most. I share this with all Our Family and Friends... Let all those you love, know how much they are loved. Tomorrow is not promised to us, open your hearts and let the words be expressed freely. 

Dad was the best role model for My brothers, nephews and two sons. Grampa Abraham is part of your DNA, he is forever with us all. Look to his teachings as a guide for your lives.
Love, Faith, Discipline, Work Ethic, Forgiveness and Respect. 

He loves his "PINGÜINOS", lil penguins (his grand children, great grandchildren and currently great grandson). Hes reunited with grandma Maria de la Luz and can rest proud of the legacy he created. One day we'll see them again. 

I love you dad, thank for being the greatest father to me and #1 champ for our children. Rest in our Lord's eternal light. No pain or suffering, only love. VAYA CON DIOS AMADO PADRE
