He leaves behind to cherish his memory and to carry on the work of the Lord, his wife of 44 years, Brenda Beardy. He will be missed by his children: Joey, Garnett, Tania (Tom), Mary (Barry) and Elaine (Terry). He also had 4 step-son’s whom he loved as his very own: Little Tom, Kennard (Roseanne), Louis and Hector Beardy. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Jenalyn, Tristan, Joseph, Cassius, Daniel, Rachael, Joshua, Natalie, Isaac, Jacob, Veron, Caleb, Michael, Marcel, Brenda, J.R., Nolan, Jenelle, Jordon, J.J., Kendall, Garrett & Kaitlyn, Chantel, Richard, Chanel, Tyron (Kelsey) & Bradley (Kennedy). Tommy also had 19 great-grandchildren.
Tommy spent much of younger life in Red Lake, ON. He worked the mines as a diamond driller in during his time in the Red Lake area. Tommy gave his life to the Lord as young man and served the Lord for most of his life. Tommy was a gifted and faithful musician, and minister. He started out as a guitar player for the church in Red Lake. His music ministry flourished as he worked his gift. Tommy always played a red guitar and he was an influence on many of the younger guitarists in the church today. He met his wife Brenda in his travels and he later moved to Winnipeg, MB where he raised his family and opened Family Worship Service. Much of Tommy’s ministry was a travelling ministry.
In 1994, Tommy relocated his family to Dalles First Nation. After years of doing the Lord’s work, he built the church he had longed for. Jesus saw and knew that Tommy’s years of travelling were coming to an end and it was time to have a church where he can live out his last days. He continued to serve the Lord in song, music and word until his last day.
Tommy’s life here on earth has come to an end, but his new life in paradise began after he took his last breath. Tommy finished the race which was set before him and defeated his last enemy, death. He’ll live on for eternity, in a glorified body with no more pain and suffering in heaven and with Jesus. He’s home with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The legacy he leaves behind will continue with his wife and children. It was Tommy’s desire that all would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
