Sandra Ann Keewatin Clan Moose, Mother’s side
(January 22, 1986- December 27, 2016)
With great sadness we announce the passing of Sandra at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, peacefully with family by her side.
She was a member of Grassy Narrows First Nation.
Predeceased by parents Emile Fontaine, Irene Keewatin and grandparents George and Mary Keewatin, Leonard Fontaine & Theresa Perreault, uncles and aunties- John & Percy Keewatin, Edna Pahpasay, Julia, Florence, Agnus Keewatin and Helen Pahpasay.
Sandra’s survived by her children; Jasmine, Centerio, Ava, Caleb Keewatin, common-law Ivan Land, siblings, Annette, Blaine, Ernest, Renas, Patrick Keewatin, uncles and aunties Eddie (Jane), Erick Keewatin, Sandra, Beatrice, Mary Fontaine, Joe Fontaine Sr., cousin, Shirley, Ruth, Jennifer, Helena, Jonathon, Jo-Ann, Anjelica, Eddie Jr., Ryan, Anita, Chris, Merrill, Heather, Becky, Alvin, Rhonda and Priscilla Fontaine, Rose Fontaine, Joey F., Glenn Assin, Sydney Fontaine, Joshua, Mario and Jeremy, nieces and nephews Alanda Shakira, Elika, Sierra, Georgette, Phoneix, Semiah, Lightning, Dino, Desmond, Draper, Nina & Diana Stone, Johnathan’s kids and many friends and family too many to mention.
Sandra enjoyed hanging with her friends and family, her kids were pride and joy.
She has a passion in beading and liked to read books. She went on walks every day.
The family would like to thank the Drs. And nurses at Lake of the Woods District Hospital for all their care and compassion.
Wake on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trapper’s Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario.
Christian Funeral Service @ 1:00 p.m. on December 31, 2016 with Pastor Frank Kowal officiating with interment to follow at Grassy Narrows First Nation.
