Pauline Robertson (Polly) passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Home for the Aged on March 5, 2021, in her 95th year. Polly was previously deceased by Sam Robertson in 2003 and her son, Grant Robertson in 2011.
Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jane Elizabeth Robertson, daughter-in-law, Leigh Robertson, Sons Wade Robertson (Janis) and Russell Robertson. Pauline was a proud grandmother of Samantha Wilson (Kyle), Ali Crandall (Ben), Devon Robertson (Carson), Stuart Robertson, Krista Robertson, Gordon Robertson, Great Grandchildren, Royce Wilson, Georgia Wilson and Miller Reynolds.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Teenie Coulson as well as her 3 brothers Harry, Peter and Paul and 3 sisters, Olga, Mary, Doris and is survived by her sister Sophie Coulson whom Polly adored.
Pauline moved to Kenora from the family farm in Sandy Lake Manitoba to Minnedosa MB, Brandon MB and in 1953 and became a Dental Assistant Kenora, Ontario. This where she met her future husband Sam Robertson while he was getting repaired from his latest hockey injury.
She worked for Dr. Art Schwartz for many years. She also worked for various other Kenora area dentists on a part time basis.
Pauline enjoyed spending her days manicuring her abundant vegetable garden, making delicious Sunday family feasts, sewing up a storm, and staying in touch with friends, near and far. She had a gift of making friends with many developing into long lasting friendships.
She held bible studies weekly at her home. Mum & Dad loved to get together with friends to socialize and have a good laugh.
She was adored by her friends and family and will be missed dearly by many, including the wonderful staff at Pinecrest who provided incredible care of her for 17 years. Special thanks to Dr. Thomas and Mike Limerick who provided excellent care over the years.
