1925 - 2012

Lorna Davis, beloved wife of Harold Davis died on August 29th, 2012 at Lake of the Woods Hospital at the age of 86, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lorna will be missed by her children, Jim (Gail), Deborah, Ron (Janet), and grandchildren Colin (Vicky), Sean (Kim), Angela, Tyson (Zoe), Alexis (Joel) and great grandchildren Juliana, Alison and Benjamin.

Lorna and Harold were married in 1943 and lived in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Souris, Kenora and then back to Winnipeg. She and Harold built a cottage on her beloved Longbow Lake until Retirement called them back and Longbow became their home as well as the hub of the Davis clan to come together.

Family was the focus of her life and she was a devoted mother creating a warm and loving home for her husband, three children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mom was very busy with her garden, T.O.P.S., choir, a faithful member of the ladies Auxiliary of the Notre Dame Catholic Church as well as her very lively social life.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A Celebration of Lorna’s life will take place at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 11:00am Saturday September 1, 2012 with Father Rudy Manaloto officiating.
