Linda Caroline Rose
With her family by her side Linda Caroline Rose a long time resident of Kenora passed away on May 22, 2012 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital, at the age of 59 years.
She is survived by husband of 33 years Barry, son Clint (Jackie) grandchildren Kelcie, Sydnie, Brendan & Marissa & son Paul (Erin) grandchildren Carly & Dakota. Mother Eva Somers, sisters Dianne, Elaine (Ian), Beverly & brother Harold (Cheryl) along with numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeaceased by her father Bill (William) & brother Bob.
Linda was born in Winnipeg and moved to Kenora in her early adulthood. She loved life in Kenora, her and Barry enjoyed many camping trips and fishing (tolerated). She did many crafts with her grandchildren. She belonged to the Kenora Beta Sigma Phi, Kenora Legion and was a Troup leader of the Kenora Branch Beavers & Cubs. She worked for Alcock Bus Lines Driving School Bus for 30 years. She ventured out working on the Kenora Argyle at Kenora Golf Course & Kenora Legion. Linda loved being with her family and we will all remember the big family BBQ's and outdoor adventures with her grandchildren. She brought so much joy to all around her and will be missed.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held Saturday May 26, 2012 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church with a luncheon to follow at Barry and Linda's home on Carlton Rd #287. In honour of Linda donations to one's charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
