Linda King

August 14, 1954 – January 2, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother Linda.

She fought a brief illness and passed in the early hours of Jan. 2, 2019.

She was predeceased by her one and only beloved son Duane Hager in 2014 and sister Diana in 1976, her grandparents James & Monica Morrison, Ted & Ann King, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Linda leaves to mourn her wonderful grandson Dustin Hager whom she loved, adored and is so proud of. Also her parents Joan and George King of B.C., sister Cheryl (Hal) brothers Curtis and Terry, special nieces Lana (Hayden & Karson) Shaelynn and nephews Carlton and Russel, Dustin’s mother Jessica and the girls Danielle and Raya.

Linda was born and raised in Kenora, she had a kind and loving heart and had so so many friends young and old and she was known to a lot of them as Nana.

We would like to thank her special neighbours Fred and Dorreen for always lending a helping hand.

Linda’s love for all animals especially her cats Mama and Kruger was profound.

She will be sorely missed by so many and loved by all who knew her.

On angel wings you were taken, But in our hearts you will stay.

Love forever and a day, all your family.

As per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service at the family plot at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery will take place at a later date.
