Joseph Kuzio
On Friday, November 19, 2010 in his 90th year, quietly and peacefully, Joseph Kuzio passed away. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Joseph will be sadly missed by his bride of 60 years Mary, their son John, daughter-in-law Marilyn and two grandchildren Adrian and Enoria. Joseph was one of six children born and raised in Ukraine.
Independently, Joseph and Mary immigrated to Canada, met in Kenora and were married on November 11, 1950. Joseph and Mary spent most of their lives in Kenora where Joe was with the Canadian Pacific Railway, rising to the position of Foreman, Kenora Yard until his retirement.
His spiritual life revolved around the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Joseph’s greatest joy was his family to whom he gave strength, wisdom and inspiration. Adrian and Enoria will truly miss their beloved Dido.
Dido
when we knew you, you had little to say
you'd feign surprise and look away
slowly you'd look back with a smile so fair
then reach out and gently stroke our hair
