Jordan enjoyed school at King George in his early years. He then attended Lakewood intermediate and graduated from Beaver Brae Secondary school.
Jordan loved sports, volleyball, basketball, baseball, running club, and excelled in Judo. His commitment, focus and hard work in the J&M Judo Club led him to much success and many trophies. His grandpa Glen had to build a trophy case for all of his medals.
His fave sports team was the Philly 76’ers and he could be found many nights in the driveway shooting hoops with friends.
Growing up he spent many a Sunday morning on the lake fishing with his Mom, Brother and Grandpa Glen.
Summers Jordan enjoyed both baseball and soccer. He also enjoyed spending summers at the Kenora Golf & Country club with his Dad, friends and younger brother. If Jordan and Carsen weren’t golfing, they would be out there hunting for golf balls to sell back to their dad, Gram, Grandpa & many other golfers.
Jordan was a very sensitive, an old soul. Close to all his Grandparents, he had a very special bond with Grandma Lorna - they just got each other and their love of God and the scripture brought them quite close over the years.
Jordan lost a close friend in his teenage years, and that really affected him deeply. He struggled with this loss for many years and spiraled into anxiety and a depression that pulled him into a dark place. Jordan had strong faith in the lord and his word that brought him comfort.
Jordan is at peace now, without pain.
We truly believe he is united with his brother Joshua, Grandma Lorna and other family members being embraced by Christ's love.
A very heartfelt thank you to all first responders that were there that day - we have the utmost respect & gratitude for all that you do. Also to Cory & Deb at Brown Funeral Home for their very personal care and compassion. They are walking us through this loss gently.
In lieu of flowers please just be kind, as you never know the struggles anyone is facing in their lives.
