Doris Bielby

Doris was born and raised in Keewatin, moved to Dauphin, Manitoba where she met and married her husband, Richard. The couple eventually ended up in Keewatin and Doris worked for the Lake of the Woods District Hospital for several years. Upon retirement they moved to Benedickson Court where they were very happy.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Richard (2015), by her parents Samuel (1971) and Florence (1984) and by one brother Gordon Atcheson (1997) and one sister Muriel Casson (2004).

She is survived by her sister Delaine (Cam) Todesco of Red Rock, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Delaine and family wish to extend their sincere thanks to the support staff at Benedickson Court for your care and kindness given to Doris over the last year, truly made a difference in her life. We deeply appreciate everything you did for her. Also thank you to Pastor David McDonald for your spiritual care. It was so important and comforting for her. Lastly, a special thanks goes out to Cecile Marcino who tirelessly sat with Doris through her last days.
