Donna Marie Strong

Donna is originally from Dalles First Nation but lived in Kenora, Grassy Narrows, Peterborough and Toronto.

She was predeceased by her parents James Keesick and Liza Strong, as well as her son Tyler, her siblings Rodrick, Emily, Sharon, Julius and Timothy, her aunts Mary, Josephine, Margaret, Sarah and grandmother Lillian Strong (Moniqwe).

She leaves behind her daughters Rayah (Bear), and Faith, her mother-in-law Evelyn Pahpasay, her sister Diane and her children Nayla, Kurtis and Dezamae and brother Kenny. Father of her daughter Lionel, her oldest sister Catherine and their children Steven, Emily, Sherry, children Hans, Darwin, Ashen, Asia, Clinton, Ethan, Dorian, Howard, Deshaun, Isaac, Catherine, Cashis, Cassie, older sister Lillian, Sharon and Marcel, Preston and Marlene and grandchildren.

She is also survived by her cousins Janet, Angela, Mary Jane, Sarah Jane, Leo, Molly, Bernadette and their children, Tanya, Maggie, Kenneth, Toby, Lovelee Angel, Montana, Derek, Elaine, Lenore, Nicole, Alvin, Yvonne, Christine, Sam, Chris, Tracy, Kevin, Eli, Ian, Daryl, Michael, Jason, Marcus, Austin, Todd, Josey, Remmy, Reggie, Bella, Jimmy, Wyatt, April, Sunny, Nikki, Deanna, Vanessa, Shannon, Nikita, and too many grandchildren and extended relatives too numerous to mention.

Donna had many friends; she was a person who would help anyone in need. She helped care for nieces, nephews, and children. She enjoyed dressing up and taking photos, she enjoyed walking exploring new places, she loved nature due to her parents being trappers.

She adored her daughters and enjoyed spending time with them, she would often visit family members, she loved sharing stories and making people laugh.

A wake service will begin on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 3:00pm at the Trappers Building in Grassy Narrows. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Paul Lee officiating. Donna will be laid to rest alongside her father and siblings and nephew at Taypaywaykejick Cemetery.
