With very heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of our Angel, Delaine Corrina Copenace on March 22, 2016.
Delaine will be welcomed by her Great Grandmothers Marie Ross & Flossie Copenace, Great Grandfathers Baptiste Bigblood, Edward Copenace Sr. & Benjamin Brown Sr, Grandfather William Land and her Auntie’s Lori-Ann & Alana Copenace.
Delaine is survived by her Mother Anita Ross (Eric), Father Anthony Copenace Jr (Terri-Ann), Sisters Darian, Lori (Ethan) & her womb-mate, Dayna (Seth). Maternal Great Grandmother’s Harriet Bigblood & Elizabeth Brown, Grandmother Corrine Land & Elaine Copenace, Grandfather Anthony Copenace Sr, Uncles Adam (Vanessa), Hugh (Traci), Adrian (Zena), Mindy (Freddy), Mark and Todd. Step Sisters, Erica, Ariel, Patricia and Step Brother Greycloud. She will also be greatly missed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and extended family, way too many to mention.
Delaine was born 5 minutes before her womb-mate, Dayna. They are known as “Twinkies” to her parents Anita and Tony.
She was the most Beautiful, Funniest, Silliest and absolutely without a doubt in our hearts thee most interesting, unique, creative, clever, kindest and the most loving girl we’ve ever known. We would often find Delaine playing XBOX live & on her IPOD daily and listening to music. She was an artist and loved to draw. She enjoyed going for walks and taking scenery images, re-blogging and liking the coolest things.

Wake Services will be held on March 28, 29 & 30, 2016 @ The Knox United Hall starting at 3pm. Traditional Services will start at 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on March 31, 2016 @ The Knox United Hall with Elder Peter White officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery in Kenora.
Pallbearers will be Hugh Ross, Adrian Land, Todd Copenace, Mark Copenace, Darryl Redsky and Andrew Letander.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sierra Cowley, Savannah Daly, Hannah Jacko, Asia Tom, William “Adam” Ross and Gage Duck.
