It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Claudette. She passed at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with loved ones by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Nazarus Land and Agnes Land (Cameron), Grandparents George Land Sr. and Annie Land (Loon), daughter Shawna Agnes Seymour, mother-in-law Sandra Seymour, siblings Arlene Land, Bradely Land, Bryden Land, Darnell Land, Barrett Land, Lawrence Land and Marcia Land, uncles; Norbert Cameron, Robert Cameron, Jacob Cameron, Ray Cameron, Lawrence Land, John James Land, nieces Melissa Kejick, Nathan Muckle, Bryden Muckle Jr., Lanny Smith.
She is survived by her partner Joe Seymour Jr., son Dakota Seymour, grandchildren Kennedy, Harper and Cedar. Daughter in law Callie Skead and father-in-law Joe Seymour Sr., siblings Darryl Land (Erica), Naz Land Jr. (Joelle), Fawn Ningewance, Conrad Sandy. Sisters in law Isabel Seymour, Vivian Landon and Claudie Indian (Jason). Also too many nieces and nephews to mention but she loved each and every one. She loved spending time outdoors, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, watching movies and she loved to have a good time.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Land, Naz Land Jr., Curtis Swain, Brent Muckle, Joe Cameron, Douglas Skeid, Cynthia Swain, Bella Skead and Jennie Fisher.
Wake will be held on Friday and Saturday April 11, 2025 at 2:00pm and April 12, 2025 at the Golden Eagle Bingo Hall. Traditional Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 13, 2025 at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Wauzhushk Onigum.
