1956 – 2012

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cheryl Leiterman announce her passing on September 23rd, 2012.

Cheryl was a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a soul mate, a co-worker, and a friend to many. She had a zest for life and never sat still. She enjoyed her travel, going to the casino, zip lining, gardening, facebooking, just to name a few. She had an infectious laugh and smile. She was always busy doing something and her latest project was renovating the home she and Marty lived in. She was looking forward to doing some ice fishing with Marty this winter now that he had retired. Cheryl was a kind soul that would help anyone if asked. She was someone you could count on.

Cheryl was employed with Morningstar Detox Centre at the time of her passing and made many lasting friendships while she was there.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Ross and Shirley Leiterman.

She is survived by her soul mate Marty Poirier, his parents Marg and Charlie Poirier, her brothers Richard Leiterman, Winnipeg, Ronald Leiterman, Kakabeka Falls, Gregory Leiterman (Marilyn), Thunder Bay, Tim Leiterman (Terri), Thunder Bay, Kevin Leiterman (Carrie), Kakabeka Falls.

A Memorial Service for Cheryl will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. at the Minis Hall in the Super 8. Cremation has taken place with interment to be determined at a later date.
