Bobby is survived by his children Louise (Roderick), Lorraine (Peter), Geraldine (Calvin), Timothy (Verena), Crystal Mandamin, grandchildren Bruce, Jeremy (Dale), Adrian (Monique), Luke (Diane), Rochelle, James, Gabriel (Ashley), Jolene (Frank), Karen (Brad), Corin (Joe), Carolyn, Gage, Chelsea, Amanda (Neil) Katelyn, Maybeline (Josh), Shannon (Trevor), Vince. He is also survived by his brother Stanley Blackhawk, nieces and nephews; Stephan, Valerie, Yankee, Loulou, Julie, Tina, Karen, Debbie, Linda, Ronald, Patricia, Percy, Grace, Nancy, Peter, Caroline, Darlene, Debbie J., David, Kathleen, Jennifer, Samantha and Stanford. Dad has 50 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild baby Jackson too numerous to list, he loved every one of them. Marvin Mandamin was still part of Dad’s life children of Lorraine’s.
Bobby was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley, son Bob and his dad Jimmy Blackhawk and his mother unknown, his brothers Stephan, Donald, Ronnie, Joseph, Frank, and his sisters Meta, Joyce and Nancy, 2 grandsons that he loved and have gone on Roger and Julian and a very special granddaughter Bruce’s wife Amber.
Dad touched a lot of people that crossed his path he helped everyone, everyone that came to him he never said no to anyone. Dad never complained he was a very humble man. Dad loved hunting, fishing and rice picking in his younger years, he also harvested wild rice, smoked meat and fish. Dad provided for his family, he was a very hard working man. He was a carpenter, and worked in the bush pulp cutting.
Mom and Dad adopted 2 beautiful little girls that they really loved, Julianna and Athena they are now adults and have children of their own Rueben, Kyler, Amiah and Niel, Dad loved these little children. Dad told us to continue to love them as our sisters.
Dad loved his Lord and Saviour, always prayed and read his bible, always saying a prayer before he ate. Dad inspired everyone close to him. Dad travelled everywhere for his Lord and Saviour, he knew a lot of people, he sang in church and played guitar.
2nd Timothy 4:7 – I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
John 15:7 – If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
Now that Mom and Dad are reunited in Heaven, they must be rejoicing together, God gained another soul in Heaven.
A wake service will begin on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Shoal Lake 40 Gymnasium and will continue on Thursday as well. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Wittmeier officiating with burial to follow.
The family would like to thank WNHAC Lorraine Johnson for helping Dad through his difficult time and Dr. Vaudry for helping our Dad, Chief and Council from Shoal Lake # 39 and #40 for their support, as well as the Medical Centre of Shoal Lake #40. We as a family are very thankful for all the support.
