Wilma Linda Lee Payne Stone, age 93, passed away November 13, 2024, in Ellijay, GA. She was born January 13, 1931, in Haynesville, NC. To Rev. James Marion Lee and Anna Mary Miller Lee. Wilma retired as a Private Nurse after many years of service. Wilma married Grady Payne, and they were married twenty years he passed in 1983. She remarried to Lonnie Stone, and they were married for thirty-eight years until his passing in 2008. She leaves the cherish her memory five children: Allen Payne, Cathy (Allen) Maddox, Janice (Daniel) Waters, proceeded in death by her two children: Richard Payne and Glenda Payne. Five grandchildren; Tina Martin, Brandon Payne, Melissa Huggins, Andrea Waters, Stephanie Bennett; Six Great Grandchildren; Karl, Stacy, Jack, Ben, Jason, Kendall, and numerous great, great grandchildren. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, with Rev. Daniel Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
