Pete was born on April 4, 1944, and grew up in Metuchen, NJ. He graduated from Murray State with a degree in Psychology.
He was an avid athlete, fisherman, music fanatic, and family man who loved and lived life to its fullest.
He was the loving husband to Lynn Anne Smithson (75) for 54 years. He was the proud father of three children, Missy (52), T.J. (50), and Shannon (45) and devoted father-in-law to their spouses, Trip (53), Shannon (49), and Cliff (46).
He was the adoring Pop Pop to six grandchildren, Taylor (20), Harrison (19), Remmy (16), MaKenzie (15), Briggs (15), and Kennedy (11).
He is also survived by his brother Michael and his wife Ellen, his brother-in-law Dan and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
To know him was to love him and he truly knew what was important in life. Until we see you again…
