Wanda Louise Patterson Buice was born in Nelson, Georgia and grew up in the Marietta area. She spent a number of years working at Kennestone Hospital before retiring from Lockheed-Martin. In her earlier years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Harold, and making trips to the beach. They lived at Armand Beach for many years before retiring permanently to Dallas, Georgia in 2005. Her deepest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was extremely proud of her family and cherished the time spent with them. She was pre-deceased by her parents Eula Mae and RW Patterson and her sister Iris Wright. Wanda is survived by her husband Harold, her children Charles Owens, Erna Fellabaum, and Michael Owens, her stepdaughters Lisa Hulsey and Kristi Johnson, her ten grandchildren, and her fourteen great-grandchildren. She had a feisty spirit, along with a heart for the Lord. We are grateful that she now rests in peace with our Father in Heaven and know that she is telling us, "Y'all come visit sometime!" Wanda passed away at home on May 7, 2024, at the age of 89. She will forever be missed.
