Mr. Walter Eric Cotton, age 54, of Kennesaw passed away June 15, 2013. He was a Lead Finance Tech for Dobbins Air Reserve Base and was a member of the North Georgia Umpire Association having worked with Cobb and Cherokee County Recreation Departments, also the City of Acworth Recreation Department and with the Dobbins base Recreation Department.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lori Cotton; children Alesha, Christopher, Eric and Jessica; six grandchildren; brother, Roderick Cotton; sister, Sharon Cotton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 22 at 11 AM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Pine Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends between the hours of 9 until 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
