Travis Patrick Maddox

Travis Patrick Maddox, age 55, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Travis was born December 6, 1966 to Gladys Sue Hale Maddox Ball and Farris Maddox. Travis was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Cindy for 10 plus years. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.Travis was employed by Acworth Power as a Linesman, and was a Mason at Acworth Masonic Lodge #176. He enjoyed supporting his community and keeping the power on. Travis also enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, keeping up the pool at home, and spending time on his tractor. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends, and fur babies. He will be loved and missed by all that knew him.

Travis is survived by his wife, Cindy Jones Maddox; daughters, Brittany Cosby, Samantha Cosby, and grandson, Waylan Albert Hall; mother, Gladys Sue Hale Ball and her husband Clifford; father-in-law, Henry Jones; mother-in-law, Marlene Jones; sisters, Debbie Smith (Scott), Felicia Carver (Shon); brother- in-law, Tommy Jones (Lori); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Travis was preceded in death by his father, Farris Maddox, and sister, Denise Ingram.

A public visitation for Travis will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Winkenhofer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Sunday, at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth, GA.
