Mr. Thomas Harold Moon, age 89, of Powder Springs, passed away April 13, 2014. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II and a lifelong resident of Cobb County and a member of the Springville Masonic Lodge #153 F&AM, North Cobb Optimist Club, Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Clarksdale United Methodist Church.
Mr. Moon was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Mark and Nellie Mae Lawler Moon; brother, Carl Moon and his sister, Mary Moon McCall.
Survived by his wife of 67 years, Nora (Betty) Wylie Moon; sons, Kerry (Barbara) Moon, Thomas (Lisa) Moon; 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 16 at 4 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Rev. George Wannamaker will officiate. Interment to follow in Powder Springs Cemetery with honors being provided by the U. S. Army and the Springville Masonic Lodge #153 F&AM.
