Thomas Joseph Johnston

Thomas “Tom” Joseph Johnston, age 67, of Kennesaw, GA., was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was born on Sunday, January 15th, 1950 to the late Frank and Jane Johnston.

Tom had a passion for the word of God. He also had a great passion for his family. Tom was considered the rock and anchor of the family and was devoted to taking care of their every need. Mr. Johnston will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father and papa.

Thomas Johnston is preceded in death by his father, Frank Johnston; mother, Jane Johnston; and daughter, Karen Lynn. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Sandra Johnston; daughters, Susan (Joe) Hartbarger and Debbie (Eddie) Tirado; son, Brian (Stacey) Johnston; siblings, Jane Mihelic, Robert Johnston, Donna Costa, Mark Johnston, Mathew Johnston; and grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Jared, Olivia, Seth, Aaron, Brody, Levi, Isabella, Brandon, Rebecca, and Lorelei.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 from 5PM to 8PM and on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 from 11AM to 1PM. A funeral service to honor Thomas Johnston will be held in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at 1PM. Burial will follow services at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
