Mr. Terry Lee Bryant

Terry Lee Bryant , age 73, completed his life here on earth and began his new life in Heaven on June 23, 2024. Terry was born on July 12, 1950 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Lester Pinkney Bryant and Jimmie Lee Quarles Bryant.

Terry grew up in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated from Sprayberry High School and attended Southern Poly Tech. Terry worked for Cobb EMC and retired with 38 years of service. He also served in the Air Force National Guard.

He had fond memories of spending summers with his extended family in the North Georgia Mountains. He was an avid hunter and loved the annual trout fishing trip with the men of his family. Terry was a Georgia Bulldogs fan and also enjoyed the Atlanta Braves.

Terry was a Christian and member of New Salem Baptist Church, Kennesaw, Georgia. He married Sheila Colburn Chism on April 4, 2009, and they shared 4 children. They enjoyed spending time with their blended family.

He is survived by his children, Larry Pinkney Bryant (Ashley) of Talking Rock, GA, Kristen Ashlee Corrigan (Mike) of Canton, GA , William Matthew Chism ( Julie) of Cedartown, GA and Marla Kay Chesnutt (Mark) of Villa Rica, GA. There are seven grandchildren; Kelsey Portwood (Andrew), Madison Karr (Montana), Andrew Chesnutt (Sierra), Mattie Bryant, Luke Bryant, Emma Chism and Mikayla Corrigan and nephew, Justin Giddens (Nicole). He was also blessed with five great grandchildren and three great nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Lester Bryant, and sister, Bonita Jane Bryant Giddens.

A Celebration of Life will be held June 26, 2024 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Kennesaw, Georgia. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm followed by his Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial will be at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
