Sue Carol (Sprayberry) Butler

Sue Carol (Sprayberry) Butler, age 83, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Sue was born in Powder Springs, GA on April 20, 1937 to her late parents, William Paul "W.P" Sprayberry and Ruth White Sprayberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a cousin, Colonel Robert H. Sprayberry, Sr. Sue loved all animals, especially birds and cats. She was a people person and loved by all. Sue was affectionately known as a friend by all. Sue loved orchids and all flowers and to watch her favorite TV show, General Hospital. She always dressed to the nines, and could light up the room when she walked in. She was a beloved daughter, wife, friend, and cousin that will be missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James A Butler of Acworth, GA; cousins, Robert and his wife Susan Sprayberry of Douglasville, GA; cousin, William Paul Sprayberry of TN; cousin, Betty Sprayberry of Douglasville, GA; cousin, Nancy Sprayberry of Douglasville, GA; cousin, Bryce and his wife Debra Sprayberry of Douglasville, GA; cousin, Sarah Fuller of Hiwassee, GA; cousin, Vickie and her husband Charles Butler of Hiwassee, GA; cousin, William Paul Sprayberry, III; cousin, Dotty Plage of Virginia and a number of special friends.

A gathering and visitation for Sue will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm, from the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will occur at Pine Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sue's memory may be made to the Cobb County Humane Society.
