Sherri Denice Ellis, age 48, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020. Sherri was born June 12, 1972 to Linda Ellis and Dennie Ellis in Myrtle Beach SC. She worked as a barber and was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Sherri will be missed greatly by all that knew her. Her humor, quick wit, generous nature and beauty were a rare combination that lit up a room and enthralled us all. Sherri loved her family and friends fiercely. She was loyal and loving and gave of herself willingly. There will never be another with her unique gifts and qualities.
Sherri is survived by father, Dennie Ellis, and mother, Linda Ellis; sister, Carey Whitman (Kyle), brother, Daniel Ellis (Suzann), and sister, Tiffani Blanks (Matt); nephews, Jackson Whitman, Mason Ellis, Jeremy Whitman, Maddox Ellis, Joseph Caceres, Lucas Caceres; nieces, Faith Ellis, Maura Caceres, Samantha Comer, Reese Pauley, Morgan Blanks and Norah Blanks.
A visitation will be held Thursday July 16, 2020 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday July 17, 2020 at Winkenhofer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
