Shelby Hill McCoy

Shelby Hill McCoy, age 51 passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. Shelby was born in Marietta, Georgia. Shelby worked in the School System as a Parapro helping with special needs students, a profession she truly loved. Shelby was a kind loving soul and was so giving, if you were in need she would try her best to help you. She loved crafting, cooking but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. Shelby was saved by Grace, and Baptized, in August of 1984 at New Liberty Baptist Church in Acworth.

Shelby is survived by her husband, Joshua McCoy; her son Trey Childers; and her daughter Bethany Alderman (Travis); her brother Bryan Hill (Jessica). Shelby was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Wanda Hill; her brother Jason Hill.

A visitation for Shelby will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA. A visitation will occur Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A chapel service will occur Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Shelby will be laid to rest in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth, GA.
