Ms. Savannah Marie Cagle, age 20, of Acworth, GA., currently residing in Okinawa, Japan for service in the United States Navy, passed away on May 18, 2017. Ms. Cagle was born on December 4, 1996 in Austell, GA., a daughter to Alan Michael Cagle Jr. and Felicia Marinelli Cagle.
Savannah spent most of her life in the Cobb County area and was a graduate of Allatoona High School in 2015. During her high school career she was involved in numerous extracurricular activities, such as ice skating, cheerleading, and track. Outside of being involved in school activities some of her favorite hobbies were listening to music, hiking, rock climbing, and working out. Savannah had a unique sense of independence and determination, the goals she set for herself would undoubtedly always be reached despite any obstacles. Her strong essence of determination would eventually lead Savannah to join the United Stated Navy following her high school graduation. The desire to serve others and her country was evident in her accomplishments in the Navy, becoming a Master at Arms and currently ranking as a USN/E2 at the time of her passing. Though her determination, independence, and strong will were prevalent characteristics of Savannah, her heart, smile, and eagerness to be a friend to everyone she met was truly what shined the most. Her vibrant personality lit up any room and her giving heart captured numerous lives while on this earth. Savannah was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend; and she will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Along with her parents, Savannah is survived by her paternal grandparents, Alan and Brenda Cagle Sr. of Dallas, GA and Ann and Buck Webb of Mayo, FL; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and William Allen of Niceville, FL, and Michael and Joy Marinelli of Kennesaw, GA; three siblings, A.J.
