Ruth Wiley Hicks

Ruth Hicks was a lifelong church attendee of her local Baptist Church. Mrs. Hicks was a graduate of Falkville High School in Alabama. On May 16, 1955, Ruth married the love of her life, Fred Hicks. She then went on to become an extraordinary homemaker, mother and cook. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful and dedicated wife, grandmother and great grandmother.

Ruth Wiley Hicks has been reunited with her husband of 34 years, Fred Hicks and sister, Betty Maddox. She leaves to cherish in her memory, son, Billo Hicks(Jill); daughter, Deborah Lee Maddox(Danny); sisters, Ruby Murphy, Joy Chunn; brother, Jerald Wiley; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Gibbs, Lila De La Cruz, Christy Kane, Elizabeth Herren, Maylon Cummings, Danny Maddox Jr.; and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A Funeral Service to honor the life of Ruth Hicks will be held in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Billo Hicks officiating. Following services, burial will be held at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
